About

I'm Kyle Partridge.

I lead design operations and AI implementation, with more than a decade across the software development lifecycle as a designer, a product manager, and an operations leader.

The thread through all of it stays the same. I look for the places where good people get slowed down by the system around them, and I redesign that system with them until the work flows again.

How that change feels to the people living through it matters to me as much as the metrics, because lasting improvement depends on the people who carry it forward.

02What I do

Three ways I help teams.

Each one is the same core skill, applied to a different part of how products get built.

03Approach

How I operate.

Five principles that decide what I do when priorities collide and the pressure is on.

01

Measure before changing anything

A baseline turns opinions into decisions. It also makes the improvement provable a year later, when someone asks what changed and why.

02

Build the system with the people inside it

Process handed down from above gets worked around within a quarter. Process built with the team gets maintained by the team long after I move on.

03

Predictability is the product

Trust comes from hitting dates the team set for itself. Heroics at the end of a quarter are a symptom, and they cost more than the miss they cover.

04

Tools amplify the system they land in

New technology multiplies whatever is already there, including the friction. The workflow gets designed first and the tools get chosen second.

05

Leave the operating system behind

If the improvement depends on me staying, the work is unfinished. Documentation, governance and trained people are what make it durable.

Good operations are mostly invisible. The team feels steadier, work lands when it was promised, and nobody has to talk about process again.
